Hannah Worth – Triathlon – January 2019

Triathlon ‘Age-Group’ racing is where you race as an amateur (not in the ‘pro’ category), with people similar in age, with Hannah’s competing in the the 35-39 age group. Following a 2nd Place podium finish at Weymouth Ironman70.3, Hannah qualified for the World Championship final in South Africa in September 2018. With a strong finish time and placing, she was also selected to represented the GBR team at the middle distance European triathlon in Ibiza in October. Stepping Out for Tavi Schools Dance Festival

Tavi Schools Dance Festival 2019230 Year-4 children attended the Tavistock area dance festival on 14th January. Split across two venues – King’s Community Church and Tavistock Scout Hall, the morning session had 134 attending, with 96 attending the afternoon session, including one surprise wheel chair user for whom the instructors altered their routines slightly to ensure everyone had a good time.

Flyers’ High Five at Griffin Competition

Image: OCRA Flyers at Griffin, StreetFlyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT team have won five medals at the Griffin trampoline competition in Street, Somerset.

Most of OCRA’s gymnasts were competing one or two grades higher than last season, with some competing for the first time. For this competition, gymnasts were required to perform one compulsory routine and one voluntary routine, for which they could perform higher difficulty skills.
