Representing the Flyers Gym, Trampoline and DMT Club, Owen, Madison and Imogen qualified to represent the South West at the trampoline, double mini trampoline (DMT) and tumbling team finals at the Arena Birmingham in 2018.
Flyers Gym, Trampoline & DMT team have won five medals at the Griffin trampoline competition in Street, Somerset.
Most of OCRA’s gymnasts were competing one or two grades higher than last season, with some competing for the first time. For this competition, gymnasts were required to perform one compulsory routine and one voluntary routine, for which they could perform higher difficulty skills. SNAP is a fun, social club for children and young people with special needs to make friends and learn new skills.
Led by Melissa Coyle, Elaine Lightfoot and Vicki Pritchard, children and young people meet every Thursday, 6.45-8.15pm, to enjoy music, dance, gymnastics, trampolining, and develop throwing, catching and other fundamental movement skills through games and other sports.
