Fridays 11-12, starting 1st March, Pavilion in the Park
This class allows the new mother to ease herself gently back into yoga practice with her baby. There’s a focus on toning the pelvic floor and abdomen and easing the back and shoulders. A typical class will include yoga poses and sequences, breathing practices and a welcomed chance to relax at the end.
Practicing yoga together with your baby helps to strengthen your bond and gently allows your body to recover from pregnancy and labour.
All the classes are very informal and mothers are welcome to feed, change or attend to their babies whenever necessary.
Classes are suitable for babies from 6 weeks old or 8 weeks post C-section, up until babies become fast crawlers.
