Well known marathon runner Adam Holland made a very welcome appearance at the Tavistock Area Schools first Cross Country event on 12th February. Pictured is Adam with Nicolas Maczugowzki and Joel Lake of Tavistock Athletic Club ‘haring’ the Year 5 and 6 boys race, which was win by Fynn Baker of Milton Abbot school.
Adam Holland is native Devon distance runner who hails from Plymouth, who has won over 200 marathons and ultra-marathons. In 2010, he became the youngest person to complete 100 marathons, doing so at the age of 23.
