SNAP (Special Needs in the Park) is a fun, social club for children and young people with disabilities, that teaches fundamental movement skills through gymnastics, trampolining, dance and music.

Enjoy a fantastic week long Festival for children, young people and adults of all ages that has over 50 different SPORTS & ACTIVITY taster sessions, competitions and special offers. This is a thriving Festival which in n 2014 we had over 2500 participants. There is “Something for Everybody” so come along on your own, with friends, family and work colleagues and join the FUN. WALKING FOR HEALTH CELEBRATION WEEK.
All across Devon Walking for Health groups are celebrating how their success and how they impact on peoples lives whether that be through walking regularly with the regular weekly groups or leading these walks. Walking for Health offer weekly walks in Okehampton and Tavistock with additional walks in Broadwoodkelly, Bow and North Tawton. Come along and celebrate with us – bring your friends, meet new people and enjoy walking in your locations. FREE to come along.

Tavistock – Grade 1 and Grade 2 walk – Tuesday 14th April – meet at the Wharf at 10.30am
Okehampton – Grade 1 and Grade 3 walk – Wednesday 15th April – meet opposite the post office at 10.00am
Tavistock – Grade 3 walk – meet at the Wharf for 10am – Thursday 16th April.
Please bring a little money to share coffee with us at the end should you wish to stay.
Grade 1 walk – up to 30 minute walk on local even ground – wheelchair and push chair friendly
Grade 2 walk – 50-60 minutes are are local on fairly even ground – wheelchair and push chair friendly
Grade 3 walk – 90 minutes during which can be steep, muddy and on uneven ground.
