After comfortably winning the West Devon Quad Kids Athletics competition the St Peter’s Tavistock team of Nicolas Maczugowski, Logan Sulch, Sammy Symon,s Harry Moon, Ella Whitfield, Beratrice Kinnear, Tess Hopes and Amelie Pearce, took on the best of the other school areas of Devon at the Sainsbury School Games, held at Brickfields in Plymouth.
Every member of the team took part in a 75m sprint, vortext throw, standing long jump and 600m run, with all results counting towards the totla score.
St Peters’ kept up their excellent form and won the county event, beating the second team of Stowford, Ivybridge by 74 points. Bovey Tracey were third.
Nicolas from St. Peter’s was first boy overall and Beatrice was third girl.
