It was the 10th anniversary of the Okehampton Community Recreation Association’s West Devon Primary schools Cross country and activities morning at Castle Drogo. Thanks to the National Trust, hundreds of schools children over the years have been able to run round the grounds of the castle.

This year, well known local runner, Adam Holland led the runners round the course. There were 150 runners from Chagford, South Tawton, Shebbear, Lewtrenchard, Bridestowe, Lydford, Boasley Cross, Northlew, Gulworthy, Lamerton, Lady Modiford’s, Whitchurch, Milton Abbot, Mary Tavy & Brentor and St Andrew’s.
OCRA coaches then provided archery, football and dodgeball fun while the results were produced.
